Continuing Jumuah

You can solve a lot of your problems without money or permission.

It's common advice, but life got extra interesting when I started to apply that outside of business.

I remember moving to SF and being disappointed that there were no mosques nearby to attend jumuah (our weekly Friday prayer).

3 months ago, we hosted the first Alif Jumuah.

We had founders flying in for Alif Batch 0 and there were no real options to attend Friday prayer in the Marina.

We're 13 weeks in, and somewhat accidentally a community started growing around it.

We have people driving 45+ minutes every Friday to attend Jumuah with us, and it's become something we all look forward to.

Now, we're continuing the tradition.
