What is Alif?

A home to builders, founders,
investors, and tinkerers.
Story
Alif started out as group chats and hackathons.
In 2023, there wasn’t an ecosystem built specifically for Muslim founders - one that fully understood both the ambition required to build great technology companies and the values that shape how we live.
What started as a small experiment - a few conversations, a handful of founders, borrowed rooms - became Batch 0. The first group of builders believed in the vision before there was proof. They were more than just participants. They were the foundation. Momentum grew from there. Batch 1 expanded the circle. Batch 2 strengthened it. Programs became gatherings. Gatherings became rhythm.
An art gallery turned into a coworking and prayer space during Ramadan. A weekly Jumuah began bringing 100+ founders together every Friday. Thousands gathered at our pop-up events across the world.
Our startups began scaling from early ideas into real companies. Things that started out small, scaling to $10M+ in revenue and $100M+ valuations. Alif stopped being just an accelerator. It was infrastructure - an ecosystem that compounds over time and makes the path clearer for the next generation of Muslim founders.
Funding, hiring, workspace, community.
It's still early. But the foundation is real. And we’re building it together.

Impact
As the ecosystem continues to grow, the early signs of impact are already becoming visible.
In a short time, the early foundations of Alif have turned into meaningful momentum. Founders are launching new startups, builders are meeting cofounders and early teammates, and companies are growing from early ideas into real products
What once began as small, individual efforts is now forming a connected network - groups of builders who share knowledge, open doors for each other, and move forward together.
